# Faction Rules

* You MUST wear your faction identifier when doing **ANY** faction activities or interactions.
* You can purchase one custom faction identifier to put into the city by making a one time purchase on the [**Tebex**](https://redlight-rp-webshop.tebex.io/).
* Each Faction can only have 20 members total.
* You are only allowed to be in **ONE** faction, you can not be in more than one on a single soul and you can NOT have a separate soul in multiple factions UNLESS it’s approved by staff.
* Factions must abide by the initiation rule as stated in [**quality rules**](/redlightrp/city-rules/quality-rp-rules.md), as well as the 10 minute re-initiation rule if nothing happens after the first 30 second initiation.
* CK contracts are only valid if you have clipped proof of your member verbally or /me signing the contract IN ROLE PLAY. <mark style="color:red;">**If you are killed off, making a second character as a revenge character is not allowed.**</mark>
* <mark style="color:purple;">You</mark> <mark style="color:purple;"></mark><mark style="color:purple;">**CAN**</mark> <mark style="color:purple;"></mark><mark style="color:purple;">rob</mark> <mark style="color:purple;"></mark><mark style="color:purple;">**FACTION MEMBERS**</mark> <mark style="color:purple;"></mark><mark style="color:purple;">you have downed.</mark>
* If your turf is directly attacked, you CAN defend it with all members present as long as your faction is officially whitelisted.
* If two factions are interested in the same postal/turf you MUST agree in discord with staff to have a faction turf war.
* Gang vs Gang activity should not occur in places where all players congregate.
* Aiming a firearm or melee towards someone **IS** initiation.
* Getting into someone's car without consent **IS** initiation.

* <mark style="background-color:blue;">Gangs shouldn’t go looking to rob civs to just rob civs.</mark> <mark style="background-color:blue;"></mark><mark style="background-color:blue;">**HOWEVER**</mark><mark style="background-color:blue;">, if they are trespassing/talking reckless on your turf you have the right to rob/kidnap.</mark>
* **REMEMBER TO FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE!**
* <mark style="color:red;">**We do not have a strike system BUT if your faction constantly gets reported it can lead to a disband.**</mark>

**YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO:**

* <mark style="color:red;">**BE IN A GANG AND HAVE A GOVERNMENT JOB(EMS, PD etc.) ON THE SAME SOUL!**</mark>
* Have any **hostile** interactions 30 minutes before server restart and until 30 minutes after server restart.
* <mark style="background-color:blue;">Count twitter, phone calls, texts etc. as the 30 second initiation.</mark>
* Impersonate another faction or faction member.
* Harm/kill EMS, HOWEVER you can press them to back off or leave the scene until you are done.
* Body dump, ocean dumping, locking bodies inside businesses or hiding them from EMS or PD.
* <mark style="background-color:blue;">Ask/do sexual acts to a hostage, this will result in a perma ban.</mark>
* <mark style="color:red;">**KILL ON SIGHT!**</mark>
